MTN Inflight Roaming Service is a service that allows customers to make calls, send SMS and browse while onboard SELECTED airlines.

MTN offers the Inflight Roaming service in partnership with AeroMobile Operator with no access fee. The air host/hostess will inform Customers to switch on the phone to enjoy the service.

Follow the steps below to enjoy service;

1. Turn on the phone as directed by the cabin crew (No opt-in is required).
2. Turn off Airplane mode
3. Turn on data roaming
4. Go to settings and select Aeromobile
5. Ensure line has enough airtime or credit limit to enjoy this service

Customers will enjoy the following benefits when using the MTN Inflight Roaming Service;

1. Outgoing Calls to Nigeria and other destinations.
2. Incoming Calls from ALL destinations 
3. SMS to ALL destinations. 
4. Pay- As – You GO Data Browsing. 
5. Stay connected to the internet with an affordable 50MB Data Bundle @N2,000.

POINTS TO NOTE:

• All MTN Prepaid/Postpaid customers will enjoy this service.
• As soon as MyCustomer exit the aircraft, the inflight charges from the Aeromobile operator will stop. Subsequent calls, SMS, data will be charged based on applicable call/data/SMS rates in the destination country (Home or Abroad)
• To subscribe to the Inflight data bundle, dial *131*5*1# and select the 50MB inflight data bundle at N2,000 for 24hours
• To check inflight data bundle balance dial *131*5*5#
• As soon as MyCustomer exhausts the inflight data bundle before the expiry date, data access will be suspended and to continue browsing, MyCustomer will need to do one of the following:
• Buy another data plan by dialling *131*5*1#. 
• Opt-in for Pay-As-You-Go browsing by dialling *131*204# to continue browsing with airtime at N0.78/KB
• To opt-out of PAYG browsing, simply dial *131*205#
