WHAT IS MTN TIMED BASED CALLERFEEL

Timed Based CallerFeel

Timed Based CallerFeel enables Customers to set a particular preset message as his/her CallerFeel status for a fixed time duration. These preset messages provide callers with information regarding the current status of the Customer, especially when he or she is not disposed to take a phone call.


Every category has 3 keywords 

For example In-Class category; 
  1. “ CL30” to 50016 for 30mins 
  2. “CL1” to 50016 for 1hour 
  3. “CL2” to 50016 for 2hour 

POINTS TO NOTE 
  • Each message can be set by Customer as status for a defined period of time – 30mins, 1hour or 2hours 
  • The system will automatically reset the Customer’s status to the previous message once the stipulated time has elapsed. 
  • Customers will have to send keyword again with a new time if he/she wishes to extend the duration further. The system will ignore the previous timeline and set the new timeline. 
  • Customers can also cancel the preset message by setting a new personal message. The system will cancel the preset message and over-write it with the new personal message. 
  • Customers will be able to access the feature via SMS and WEB portals. However, service is currently not available via the USSD channel. 
  • To cancel text “TBC” to 50016
